Originally from South Africa, I immigrated to Australia as a youngster with my family, and with that igniting my intense love of travel and experiencing new cultures. After left school at 16, and moving from a small country town to the city, I picked up photography through a need to document my life while searching for a “real” job. I soon fell in love with it and spent a further year saving up for my first DSLR, often working two jobs to save up for it.
