Magnificent Beast is the collected works of fine art photographer/filmmaker Simon Hjortek, currently living in the town of Falun in Sweden.
With a big love for the bold and unexpected, Simon’s style often depicts mundane everyday life draped in the surreal. He’s not afraid to flirt with the nostalgic, giving a glimpse of a forgotten era from the past, and often there’s also more than first meets the eye.
Simon has through the years done commissioned work for artists and brands as well as personal projects and exhibitions.
