Matthias Paul Hempt was born in Vienna/Austria in 1986. After working for several years as an electrician he studied MultiMediaArt at University of Applied Sciences Salzburg and graduated 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Design. While working with various media his main interest developed towards photography and sculpture. He is currently studying at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in Germany.
