My name is Alia and I make dolls and other miniature soft sculptures and fiber arts. I started making dolls earlier in 2014 when I discovered it was a way for me to combine my love for various mediums such as: sewing, painting, knitting, beading and more and my appreciation for fashion and textiles. I make one of a kind heirloom dolls and each one is carefully considered and designed. Just as one might put together an outfit with matching leggings, shoes, and accessories in real life I enjoy doing so on a miniature scale…working in miniature is economical and transportable and as I have a love for travel, I like to be able to take my work with me wherever I go.
