Parker was born in New York City. A graduate of the High School of Performing Arts, he went on to study with Sandra Seacat, Uta Hagen, Herbert Berghof, Susan Batson, Ivana Chubbuck, and Lesly Kahn, and become a longtime member of both The Actor’s Studio and of the Ensemble Studio Theatre.
