Karis Upton (b. 1988, Bedford, UK) is a self-taught painter and multi-discipline artist. Her work is evocative of dance, using the female human figure to explore shape and angle. The human geometry of her pieces includes emotional tension as expressed in gesture; investigating relationships through movement and the intent revealed in angles. Karis has exhibited in a number of spaces in Norwich, Norfolk where she currently lives and works.
