Moritaka Toko Suzuki is an artist trained in a classical academic art atelier in Italy. His early inspiration came from his grandfather who was an accomplished painter. He joined the Angel Academy of Art, Florence, where he studied under M. John Angel and Jered Woznicki. He is now based in Sydney and is using the techniques that he has acquired throughout the years of training, combining them with his own personal taste and aesthetics.
Born in New York, 1992. He has been finalists in many art prizes. He won both the Emerging Artist Prize and the Viewers’ Choice Prize in the 2016 Mosman Art Prize.
