A dedicated collection of pieces from legendary Gutai founder Yoshihara Jiro (1905–1972). The sale showcases more than 20 pieces of Yoshihara’s original canvas, paper and ceramic works including pieces featuring large calligraphic circles painted on rich monochrome backgrounds of red, white and black – many of them from his iconic Circle series.
