‘I paint mainly in watercolour or gouache which I find to be an ideal medium for capturing the radiant expressive quality of flowers. They can range from the shy and delicate to the daring and extrovert, they are vibrant, modern and they lift the spirits. I never tire of experimenting with watercolour, it’s translucent washes and unpredictable nature giving a fresh perspective every time I paint’
