I’ve always been compelled to make objects, and have made the decision that this needs to be central to my life. I am currently working towards earning a MFA in Craft/Material studies from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Recently I have had the honor of having been featured on the covers of Fiber Arts Now Magazine, as well as Embroidery Magazine, (published in the UK). The Burchfield Penney Art Center has named me as a Western NY Living Legacy Artist, and I’ve also been able to spend time at the Platte Clove Artist Residency in the Catskill Mountains of New York.
