Black and white is my favorite processing medium (although I also sneak out the odd color image too, but via experimental processing) as it grants you tremendous freedom in shaping the presentation of an image. I’m not really into representational photography, although I do admire those few who are really good at it. I love both long and short exposure images, depending on the conditions: long when the light isn’t perfect (when is it ever!), and short to capture those all too rare moments of magic light. I’m lucky to live on a beautiful island with some stunning scenery, but I also love travelling and have a patient wife who indulges me while I shoot!” ~ Christopher George
