Thomas Couderc, born 1977, Perpignan, France.
Clément Vauchez, born 1978, Lons-le-Saunier, France.Thomas & Clément met in 1997 during their studies in Besançon. Both took their own way in 1999, in Paris: Clément studied typography for 2 years (DSAA typographie in Ecole Estienne).
Thomas first worked with studios for 2 years before becoming a freelance graphic designer.In 2003, with T. Dimetto, they founded «La Bonne Merveille», graphic design studio.
The group splitted in 2007, and Thomas & Clément continued their collaboration as a duo under the name «Helmo».They work in various fields of graphic design, mainly for cultural institutions or festivals in France. Their body of work plays with ideas like variation, mutation, randomness, combination… Helmo studio is based in Montreuil, near Paris, France.
Thomas & Clément are members of AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale) since 2014.
