Born in France and grown in Venice –between antiquity and modernity, Kitsch and Art– self-taught introduced to the craftsmanship in the frames and restauration workshop of my father; my vision of the world and the imagery of my paintings were and are nourished by the great classical and ancient figurative tradition, from antiquity to our times, and by the 20th century popular culture (comics, animation, cinema); by ancient mythology and its psychoanalytic elaborations, by philosophy, always believing and affirming the immediate value of realistic representation of the world and of the human feelings.
