Cathleen McAllister is a visual development artist and author/illustrator of the Botanical Academy, a story about plant witches navigating life in a magical boarding school. She is currently represented by Jennifer Azantian of Azantian Literary Agency, and also works at Netflix Animation.Her past visual development clients include Skydance Animation, Dreamworks Animation, Paramount Animation (Rumble, 2020) and ReelFX (SCOOB, 2020). She specializes in early development illustration, story beat illustration, environment design, character costuming and surfacing, color keys, and model packet design. She also knows Blender, and Modo, and uses 3D in her pipeline.
